Event Summary

During January 20th and 21th, the Understanding Risk Austria event will bring together the major Austrian players in the fields of warnings, risk management and prevention as part of the Global Understanding Risk Forum initiatives lead by GFDRR and World Bank. Experts from Austria and other international experience will be presented in Vienna in eight different sessions. Innovations,  practice information and data bases are the engines of this Understanding Risk.

On Wednesday 20th the inauguration and Ignite sessions will take place in the famous Vienna Townhall “The Rathaus”. And on January 21th, the 8 sessions will be hosted in the Old Stock Exchange building, “Börsensäle”.
