Avenues of collaboration

UR donor

Do you believe in our mission and want to support the community? Become a UR2020 donor and be part of advancing the field of disaster and climate risk management. This community runs solely on support from donors. This funding will go towards offsetting the total cost of the forum, allowing us to make it more engaging, creative and inspiring. Please note, donations are not tax deductible.

UR scholar

Do you want to support young professionals and community leaders? With your support, we can bring individuals from less represented and under-resourced communities to the event. We hope for UR2020 to be the most diverse forum yet, and with your help, it can be. Scholarships range from US$2,000 to $100,000 and cover the cost of scholars’ travel and accommodation.

UR partner

How can we tell your unique story during the UR forum? As a UR partner, you can showcase your support of UR’s mission by sponsoring a VIP dinner, or financing travel expenses for a keynote speaker. We also have opportunities to support artistic installations or performances. UR partner activities are bespoke and range in price from US$5,000 to $200,000.

As a UR Donor, Scholar or Partner, we welcome your contributions and offer our gratitude through various benefits and opportunities to highlight your company’s generosity.

At UR2020, we want to showcase the latest technologies and innovations in the field of disaster and climate risk management, all while creating a zero waste event. You can help us do that!

UR zero waste

UR2020 has taken on the challenge of being a zero waste event. Following strict guidelines, we aim to set a new standard for zero waste events. Besides repurposing our innovative modular booths, we will be offsetting all of our emissions through carbon credits generated by climate-friendly projects vetted by the UNFCCC. All printed materials will be non-toxic, and we will collaborate with local social enterprises after the forum to upcycle our banners into wallets and bags, fueling the creative circular economy in Singapore.

UR expo

Do you want to share what you do with the UR community? Support our zero waste expo village! Now is your chance with an expo booth. The zero waste expo village in the center of the UR2020 forum venue will be comprise modular booths that will be repurposed after the expo.
You can showcase your work by purchasing one of our booths (available in a number of dimensions with a base of circa 3 x 3m and scaling up incrementally), or by sponsoring the cost of repurposing the booths after the UR forum. Please see below for costing.
